Youth Pledge Museum (Muspada) holds invaluable historical threads for the Indonesian people. It serves not only as a repository of stories about pivotal events in the nation's journey but also as a venue for young people from various regions to experience the spirit of unity affirmed by the Youth Pledge. Through innovative learning tools and visualizations, every corner of the museum imparts valuable experiences and lessons about the events that shaped the destiny of the nation.
Muspada is also the “home” of the violin which belongs to W.R. Supratman, the composer of the national anthem "Indonesia Raya," where the anthem was first sung on October 28, 1928. Additionally, the Muspada building once served as a dormitory for young people from various regions studying in Batavia, where they gathered, exchanged ideas, and engaged in various youth activities. From print media of the youth movement to original collections of photographs capturing the spirit of the early 20th-century youth movement, Muspada is a silent witness to the fighting spirit and unity of the Indonesian nation.
